First player to 4 Breakthroughs wins.
THE BOARD
- 7 vertical Flows (columns 1–7), each with 6 slots (0–5)
- AQUA enters at bottom (pos 0) and moves up
- IGNIS enters at top (pos 5) and moves down
ACTIONS (2 PER TURN)
- SPAWN — Place a Charge-1 piece at your entry in any flow (including your Barrier flow)
- CHARGE — Increase a piece’s charge by 1 (max 3)
- ADVANCE — Move 1 slot forward. Clashes won by higher charge
- SURGE (Charge 3) — 2-slot push. Ends at Charge 1 + pulse to adjacent flows
- BARRIER — Convert a piece into a durable permanent Barrier (1 per player)
- SIDE JUMP (Charge 2+) — Jump to adjacent flow at exact same height (wraps 1↔7)
SIDE JUMP OUTCOMES
- Only valid if opponent occupies the exact matching height in an adjacent flow
- Cannot target a flow containing an enemy Barrier
- Higher charge: destroy enemy, land at Charge 1
- Equal or lower: your piece is destroyed
BARRIER RULES
- Only one active Barrier per player. Never expires.
- Your pieces Advance, Surge, and Spawn through your own Barrier freely
- Enemy cannot Side Jump into a flow with your Barrier
- Enemy Advance/Surge into Barrier: stronger charge destroys it; otherwise it loses 1 durability
BREAKTHROUGH
Reach the opponent’s entry end (pos 5 for AQUA / pos 0 for IGNIS) → score 1 Breakthrough and the piece is removed.
